IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
"The Good News Club® has been a tremendous asset for our school system! As educators we find the responsibility of teaching our children is an awesome and sometimes overwhelming task. Many children are faced with extremely difficult circum-stances at home. The earlier we start creating a strong foundation, the easier it will be to continue teaching them correct principles.
The Good News Club® does just that for our children. When I was first contacted about sponsoring a Good News Club® at [our school], I was impressed with the organization and content of the program. This coming year, God has opened the door for us to strengthen and expand our ministry to children in Chandler and Mesa. This
Fall we will offer the 30 hour TCE1 Course in Chandler in order to train and equip
local churches to reach the children of the East Valley.

In addition to establishing our new home in North Phoenix, God is leading CEF Valley of the Sun to develop a model urban ministry in the Sunnyslope area. We are partnering with community leaders, other organizations, and neighborhood churches to reach the children of this North Phoenix neighborhood.

God is leading CEF Phoenix to establish a new work in the Far West Valley. Leadership and prayer teams are being formed and church partner-ships are being built so that the children in the Far West Valley can be reached for Jesus Christ.

The MISSION of Child Evangelism Fellowship Valley of the Sun Chapter is to enlist, equip and encourage a team of qualified leaders in Maricopa County
to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God and enfold them in the local church for Christian living.
