"TAKING IT TO THE STREETS" SUMMER TRAINING

COST: $300.00 per person for training & teaching materials

TRAINING DATES

June 2-6, 2009

LOCATION: TBA

MINISTRY DATES

(2 weeks of ministry is required for participation)

June 8-12. 2009 (afternoons only)

June 15-19, 2009 (mornings only)

July 20-24, 2009 (Prescott Outreach)

July 27-31, 2009 (mornings only)

Students must be dropped off and picked up

from the CEF Office

Training Experiences will include:

Students will receive outstanding instruction, demonstration, guided practice, and practical application of each subject.

+ How to share the Gospel with children

+ How to effectively give an invitation for salvation

+ How to counsel a child in their salvation decision

+ How to lead various components of a 5-Day Club

+ How to be a great storyteller and teach an effective Bible Lesson

+ Breaking the ice and building relationships through sports

activities, face painting, and ballooning

Make a difference for God this summer ...

Child Evangelism Fellowship^© will be offering Summer Outreach Ministry opportunities for Junior and Senior High students where they can develop their spiritual gifts, grow in their concern for the lost, and impact the lives of children for Jesus Christ.

Teens can participate as a group, with adult sponsors from their local church, or they can apply to be a summer missionaries with Child Evangelism Fellowship^© and work throughout the summer with our ministry staff.

Training for summer ministry will help teenage students prepare for ministry on church sponsored mission trips, church Vacation Bible School, church sponsored local outreach as well as CEF Summer 5-Day Clubs^© in apartment complexes, neighborhood homes, recreation centers, and partnering with other local ministries through Child Evangelism Fellowship^©. CEF requires a minimum commitment of 2 weeks of service this summer in order to attend the training.
